Biography

Karley is a recent graduate at Fuller Seminary in the Masters of Theology and Ministry program. The past two years, Karley has worked as De Pree Center’s Marketing Lead. During her time in this role she learned to best integrate her love for pastoral ministry and business. Currently as the De Pree Center’s Network and Collaboration Manager, Karley is called to strengthen the Faith, Work, and Economic Network (F.W.E). She aims to build strategic, vibrant, and meaningful relationships in and around these conversations that lead to consistent collaboration for future endeavors. Her heart for the F.W.E Network is to continuously lead with empathy and vision that in turn leads to those on the margins feeling welcomed to these spaces of leadership. She hopes to cast a wider, theologically robust, and more inclusive vision for the F.W.E network. Building partnerships that foster collaboration is a space where Karley feels most alive in her gifts.

In the past, Karley has strategized and executed marketing campaigns for a variety of projects including; A Seat at the Table, She Is, and Myths of Vocation. As well as planned and hosted the De Pree Center’s first event catered specifically to women in leadership: A Seat at the Table in Pasadena, CA. While in Seminary, Karley has enjoyed gaining insight and tools on how to interpret the Bible while continuing to grow in developing her voice for women. This past year, Karley started her own brand, She Co. that aims to equip women who are seeking to grow in their vocations and understanding of God and his work in the world. She is a preacher, gatherer by nature, and coffee connoisseur. Karley is an enneagram 7 wing 8 who loves meeting new people, enjoys good conversation around the table, and has a knack for hospitality. She is a Michigan native who is now a Southern California local.
