About the Survey
This survey is the result of a partnership between Highland Park Presbyterian Church and the Max De Pree Center for Leadership at Fuller Seminary. It is the first step in a joint effort to create a custom course called “Flourishing in the Third Third of Life.” The results of this survey will help us to build a course that truly enables folks at HPPC to flourish in every part of life.
What is flourishing? The Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines “flourishing” as “marked by vigorous and healthy growth; very active and successful.” Synonyms include “thriving, prosperous.” When we flourish in life, we experience significant well-being and fruitfulness. We live more abundantly even as we make a difference that matters in the world.
The De Pree Center is all about helping people to flourish. We serve leaders in a wide variety of contexts: business, education, government, church, neighborhood, and family. We are excited about one of our newer projects, the Flourishing in the Third Third of Life Initiative. Through this initiative, we are helping folks in the third third (roughly 55 and above) flourish by experiencing the well-being God intends for them and by contributing in meaningful ways to God’s work in this world. We are thrilled to partnering with Highland Park Presbyterian Church in this endeavor.
If you would like more information about our Third Third Initiative, and/or if you would like to receive our free monthly Third Third Life e-newsletter, please check out our webpage.
The following survey will take you about 10-15 minutes. Thank you for taking the time to fill it out.
