These past two years have been grueling. Empty buildings, online meetings, frequent hospital visits and too many funerals, fluctuating giving and numbers, revolving doors, a changing of the guard… you didn’t expect pastoral ministry to be this. And you’re tired. Weary. Stuck.
If this is you, we want to invite you to a free webinar hosted by Pastor Terry Timm and featuring guest panelists Kathy Young and Wayne Park, who will be exploring the question, “Pastor, do you have what it takes to keep going in ministry?” This webinar and following resources are made possible by a joint venture between the De Pree Center and Made to Flourish.
About Our Speakers
Terry Timm is a vocational coach, pastor, StrengthsFinder practitioner, certified Motional Core (MCODE) coach and Enneagram teacher. He completed an apprenticeship program with master Enneagram teacher, Suzanne Stabile, author of “The Road Back to You.” He is a Guide for De Pree Center’s Road Ahead program and specializes cohorts for individuals in the Third Third of life and Ministry Professionals.
Kathy Young has worked over 25 years in para-church, church and community ministry, teaching women and young adults. Kathy has worked as a Discipleship Mentor for Fuller Seminary and in 2018 joined the De Pree Center as a Road Ahead guide and business/vocation coach. As a certified life coach, her passion is helping others find and live their own calling. In 2012 she founded Be Well Resources, a faith-based wellness organization which provides mental health and spiritual resources for cultivating whole-person health.
Wayne Park (DMin 21’) serves as our Program Director for Houston, Texas. A longtime resident of the area, he brings on-the-ground experience bolstered by research on the trends, economics, drivers, and spirituality that shape this great city. His passion is serving marketplace leaders in faith and formation, and does this through strengthening our networks, expanding our budding Road Ahead program, writing for our “Faith. Work. Leadership.” newsletter, and by helping pilot a cohort experience for marketplace leaders and pastors around issues related to a changing world of work.
