Biography
Rev. Tim Yee is Pastor of Union Church of Los Angeles, a 100-year-old church in downtown L.A.’s Little Tokyo District where he serves a diverse church of professionals, internment camp survivors, artists and homeless.
He serves on the Board of Union Rescue Mission where he leads the Programs Committee responsible for the life-transformation opportunities for the 1200 men, women and children who are housed there every night. He also is on the board for the new Joshua House in Skid Row, a state-of-the art medical clinic adjoined to permanent supportive housing. He has helped start urban farms that serve the low-income elderly and consulted others on non-profit initiatives.
Tim regularly coaches pastors, leaders, families and students on a variety of topics including congregational redevelopment, emotional intelligence, vocational discernment and urban renewal.
