Biography
Jennifer Oliver is an ordained itinerant deacon in the African Methodist Episcopal Church and a recent graduate of Fuller Theological Seminary, receiving a Master of Divinity. She brings experience from diverse areas of project management within scientific laboratories, education, and church administration. Her specific area of interest and expertise is in mixed-methods research and analytical problem-solving.
Jennifer’s commitment to biblical justice keeps her active in the community, serving as the Health and Wellness Platform Director of the Faith Community Coalition, primarily organizing in South LA. Through her non-profit, Manna Movement Collaborative, she works to integrate her background in agriculture and food science into ministry to aide in transforming communities by filling need gaps in the area of hunger and poverty. She is also an adjunct professor in the Department of Nutrition and Food Science at California Baptist University. In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys spending quality time with her 12-year-old daughter.
