Biography

Jennifer Woodruff Tait (PhD, Duke University; MSLIS, University of Illinois; MDiv/MA Asbury Theological Seminary) is the copyeditor of and frequent contributor to Life for Leaders. She is also senior editor of Christian History magazine, web editor for the Theology of Work Project, and a priest in the Episcopal Church. A historian by training, Jennifer is the author of The Poisoned Chalice and Christian History in Seven Sentences and co-editor of the Cambridge Companion to American Protestantism. She has also written a book of poetry, Histories of Us. Jennifer lives in Berea, Kentucky, with her husband, Edwin, and their two children. You can find her on Goodreads, Facebook, and Instagram.
