Marc Belton

Biography

Marc Belton had a distinguished career at General Mills, finishing as Executive Vice President of Global Strategy, Growth, Marketing Innovation and New Business Development. He was recognized as one of corporate America’s most powerful African-American executives by Fortune and Black Enterprise as well as one of the most creative people in business by Fast Company magazine.

About six years ago, Marc retired from General Mills. He founded Wisefellows Consulting, serving companies and not-for-profit organizations in matters of strategy, marketing, and new business development. He is also an active Angel Investor and an advisor to Aethlon Capital. In addition to his consulting and advising work, Marc serves in a wide range of community organizations, including the Salvation Army, the Guthrie Theater, Northwestern College, Urban Ventures, and Minnehaha Academy. Marc is also deeply invested in his family and the lives of those for whom he is a mentor.
