Biography

Mark is a pastor and musician passionate about connecting all areas of life with our worship of God. Mark studied at Taylor University and Fuller Theological Seminary, currently serves as co-pastor with his wife at Sanctuary CRC (a neighborhood church in Seattle), and is a City Network Leader for Made To Flourish (a Pastor’s Network for the Common Good). Prior to serving as a pastor he served for 15 years as a worship director, and loves thinking about and planning worship services that encourage God’s people to bring all of their lives into the corporate worship experience. Mark believes that pastors spending time in the places where their congregants work, and commissioning them to their daily work are two of the more profound things pastors and worship leaders can do to encourage their churches to live all of life to the glory of God. He lives in Seattle with his wife, Summer, and their two red-headed kids.
