Megan Mark
Graphic Designer
Biography
Megan Mark serves as the De Pree Center’s graphic designer. In this role, she works with the Content and Communications Team to create templates and graphics for our social media channels, workbooks, newsletters, and website. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Media and Cultural Studies from the University of California, Riverside, and started her career in 2015 by working with an independent stationery company that specializes in custom invitations and paper goods. In addition to the stationery industry, she has been able to serve her church by creating graphics for sermons, event flyers, clothing, and large-scale hand-lettered murals.
Megan has taken what she learned from working in a small business to officially starting one of her own. Markedbym offers design and illustration services, as well as a wide selection of stationery and other gift items. Since the start of her business, she has had the privilege to work on special projects like creating digital resources for the Long Beach Public Library, signage and branding for local small businesses, illustrations for online book clubs, and more. She sells her line of greeting cards to gift shops across the U.S. and at in-person community events. She enjoys personally connecting with her community through design and has always had a passion for making work that uplifts and encourages those it comes across.
