Cohort Guide

Biography

Yolanda “Yo” Miller has worked with all ages in education and Christian ministry for over 25 years, from elementary age to her current work leading graduate students in spiritual formation groups at Fuller Seminary in Pasadena. She also leads cohorts for Fuller’s Max De Pree Center for Leadership for those in the marketplace who are exploring their callings.

She is a spiritual director with Soul Care in Boulder, CO, and a facilitator for their digital community, the Soul Care Collective. She is also a soul coach and writer. The common thread through all these endeavors is a passion for helping people discover their identity in Christ and what they were created to do, through a deeper intimacy with their Creator.

Before and after graduating from Fuller with an MA in Theology and Youth Ministry in 2000, Yolanda worked in youth ministry. After, she ‘retired’ to answer the call to be a stay-at-home parent to two kids, along with her husband Jim, in Glendora, CA where they currently reside. She enjoys gardening, writing, traveling, laughing with others, and eating really amazing food. In her previous lives, she helped launch Glendora’s first coworking space, was the UCLA mascot (Joe Bruin), and was a TV extra.
