Biography

Eric Rivier Jimenez serves as the director of communications for Made to Flourish. Eric started his advertising career 20 years ago in the Dominican Republic. Early on, he led national TV, radio, and print campaigns for multiple local brands in addition to the international apparel brand, Lee. In 2004, Eric expanded his small design firm, with the help of a new business partner, into a full-service agency renamed Forero & Rivier. The newly formed team became one of the fastest growing agencies in the country, and by 2010, Eric and his team had developed multiple campaigns for local companies and international corporations such as Unilever (Knorr, Sedal, and Maizena), Sony Ericsson, and Kia Motor Corporation.

In 2010, Eric and his family relocated to Louisville, Kentucky, in order to begin post-graduate studies at Southern Seminary. There, Eric consulted the seminary on its brand positioning, marketing and creative services, eventually joining the staff as creative director. In a span of seven years Eric overhauled the school’s communications department and strategy, and his work has been recognized year-after-year by the local and regional chapters of the American Advertising Federation, AIGA, and the Evangelical Press Association.

Eric and his wife, Alba, have four children, and together they share an incredible passion for art, music, and warm, Hispanic hospitality.
