Finding Joy at Work
Description
Research tells us that seasons of challenge often hold extraordinary opportunity for joy. That’s a nice idea, but what does it really mean? How do we find joy amidst suffering? How do we embody joy as leaders and in our work?
To help us answer these questions, this event features Angela Williams Gorrell, researcher and author. Angela’s own story is remarkable in part because while she was researching joy at Yale, a series of tragic losses unfolded in her personal life. So, she had to decide if she was going to lean into the research, the wisdom, and the hope that the Bible teaches, and if so, find what that would look like on a really practical level.
Do you want your leadership to feel like an act of joy? Or simply want to feel more joy in your work? Join us for a thoughtful conversation and practical tips with Angela.
